Newsworthy is looking for energetic and experienced web graphic designer to join our team! Our new service, NewsworthyAudio, is a personal audio news service aimed at news-hungry consumers. NewsworthyAudio customers describe the news they wish to hear by specifying preferences such as publisher, topic, or keyword. NewsworthyAudio periodically searches its content databases for news and entertainment articles that match the customer's preferences. It converts print and web-based content to audio using advanced text-to-speech technology. NewsworthyAudio then creates multiple audio playlists and podcasts of the customer's preferred articles and automatically downloads them to the customer's PC and MP3 player.

As a web graphic designer in this fast-moving development team, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Design the look-and-feel of our web sites.
Create graphic for our web sites.
Recommend design and implementation approaches to ensure the attractiveness and easy-of-user of our web sites.
Participate in the design of our production system architecture from group up.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

Must have at least 3 years experience in the Web and graphic design field.
Possess excellent design, drawing and illustration skills.
Strong knowledge of design and graphics packaging including, Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Must possess experience with the design and layout of Internet web sites.
Experience using Flash for data-driven websites and accessing backend databases.
Design, maintenance and content management for corporate websites (main company site, customer support site, partner site, and Intranet). Recommend improved functionality, usability and navigation for websites.
Must have solid experience of front-end Web development technology.
Experience with Macromedia Flash Remoting MX would be a major bonus.
Excellent, visual, oral and written communication skills.
