NewsworthyAudio brings you Click-2-Listen
Click-2-Listen is a new product provided by NewsworthyAudio to various news publishers. It converts their full-length news stories to mp3 audio files. Click-2-Listen lets publishers extend their audience reach by letting their users absorb content when it’s inconvenient to read stories online. You can listen to the stories immediately, by clicking on the “Click-2-Listen” icon, or download the stories to your iPod, computer or other mp3 player. Click-2-Listen also creates a podcast of these stories, so you can automatically subscribe and receive the latest news from the publisher.
How does it work?Throughout the day, publishers update their web sites with new stories. NewsworthyAudio automatically and continuously converts these stories to audio using its patent-pending, “Professional Text-to-Speech” technology and delivers the full-length audio back to the web site. The publisher puts the Click-2-Listen icon next to each story that has been transformed into audio. |
Click-2-Listen makes listening to any story as easy as printing it. |
|
When you click on any Click-2-Listen icon, a NewsworthyAudio player opens in a new window and immediately begins playing the article. Clicking the “Download” button on the player lets you store the full-length audio article, so you can listen later, during commute time, lunch time, workout time, or any other convenient time. The NewsworthyAudio player is completely web-based, so there’s no need to download a new application or any software plug-ins. Just CLICK….and LISTEN! |
|
You get the full story. Unlike other podcasts or RSS feeds that only provide summaries or brief snippets, NewsworthyAudio provides the entire article in audio format. You get the same in-depth coverage you would read on the web site. |
